Christmas Exposed

Do we love the truth? What is the truth about  Christmas?

Dec. 2021

Deacon and I are called to be watchmen on the wall. We were told that 20+ years ago. What is the wall?  On the earth it’s the wall that literally surrounded Jerusalem that provided protection to the city.  Symbolically, Jerusalem is the City of God. A city is a municipality of government established for the people who live in it. The New Jerusalem that is spoken of in Revelation is ultimately what will be established in the earth in time. The wall is, symbolically, the principles of truth that surround the city. It separates and protects the city of God from the world through principals of truth. Read Ezekiel 17. It  lends clarity.

Anyway, being called to be a watchman on the wall means we have to watch out for false teachers and teachings that can deceive the people of the city. The principals of truth become daubed with lies through false teachers. Our Father gives us the Spirit of Truth. The Truth sets us free. In being free from blindness caused by believing lies we come to love the truth because our enemy loses power to deceive us.

Today, the Lord is leading me to share with you what He has revealed to us concerning all the lies about Christmas. What is Christmas?

I can tell you what it is not.  It is not Jesus' birthday and it is not anything our Father wants us to believe is related to Him. Christmas originated from worship of the sun god. December 25 is when the sun god’s birthday was celebrated. Christmas began in pagan worship of the sun god.

There’s nothing recorded in scripture concerning Christmas. It’s a tradition of man. Everything our Father wants us to know concerning knowing Him and living in His Kingdom is recorded in scripture but there’s nothing that supports us Christianizing pagan holidays. Christmas is only one of the Christianized holidays that are based in paganism.

In fact, if you read the books of Kings you will be faced with each King being called a good King or a bad King and exclusively mentioned about each one  is that they did or didn’t tear down the altars of the people that elevated other gods to worship during their reign.

Could it be that in God's book written about each of us we will be known as a good or bad King willing or unwilling to tear down altars of elevated things or people we put first above our Father and/or His will?

Back to thoughts on Christmas. Who the heck is the sun god?  Why did we ever want to Christianize this fantasized god?  It’s like Cruella Deville. Let’s Christianize this Disney character and make a day every year and call it about Jesus. The sun god baby is that baby with a halo around his head that people were worshipping long before Jesus was born in December 25. Mary in the nativity scene? No. That female goddess is known as the fertility goddess. Ishtar is one of her names. She has many. The people in Corinthians (maybe) called her Diana, as well. She was around even before Mary. Christianized sun god traditions added Mary and Joseph to the nativity scene and called the sun god baby Jesus so it’s Christian now? How?  Abra cadabra!?  Hocus, pocus. Did anyone ask Our Father if He wanted us to do that?

Is there anything true about Christianity found in Christmas? Surprisingly, Kris Kringle was supposedly actually a real Catholic priest who bought gifts for children. (Don’t quote me on that, please). My understanding was the gifts he brought were simple and needed items like toothbrushes and soap and possibly a treat? So that’s where Santa came from?  Well, he’s kinda something real.  He’s the legend.

He’s a good guy like Jesus so we call him the spirit of Christmas. Now, we’ve defamed the Spirit of God who Jesus told us is the only one who is good.

There is no truth in this Christmas business. That’s really what it is. It's a commercialized business.  Read the story of how the merchants didn’t like it because Paul was provoking the people to see the truth about Jesus; therefore, they were afraid they would stop worshipping Diana and they were going to lose their carved art-ware-of-Diana-income. That caused a riot that the guards had to rescue Paul from.

It’s all fantasy and tradition and legend. Christmas contains it all. In Jeremiah you’ll see what the prophet said about tree worshippers. Chapter 10 describes the tree we brought in alongside Santa and Ishtar and the Sun god with plates attached to it. We even sing songs to it, today. I was in the fifth grade and during our music classes, we sang, “Oh Christmas Tree,  O Christmas Tree, how lovely are your branches…” What the heck??  How does that honor Christ or His Father or the Holy Spirit? It doesn’t. Yet we want to put a tree in all the classrooms that presumably teach children about Jesus.

Ok. Take Christ out and it’s just a traditional gift giving season full of men and ladies in pretty and cozy red and white suits and decorated trees and shopping and lights and parties. It appeals to our carnal ideas of having fun. Let’s just do that.

That’s better than lying about Christmas being about a fantasy that isn’t true and labeling it Christ's birthday. Christ is the corporate Body of Christ. The Body of Christ includes all of us who are born of and changed by the Spirit of God and live in heaven and on the earth. Our spirits are eternal and are not of the earth and do not celebrate birthdays.

I’m really conflicted about all this stuff I am finding out. Before we understood our call we questioned why all of it bothered us and not others. Ignore it!!?!  How do I do that? The truth sets us free. Our Lord gives us His Spirit of Truth to separate us from deception. There’s times I wish I could forget it all but then I wouldn’t be living in the Spirit of Truth, would I?  When we separate ourselves from our Father’s thoughts and way through believing lies, are we defeating the salvation Jesus purchased for us?

Every year, I’m crying out to the Lord to ask Him to help me keep my heart clean and His mind and purpose for my life and His Sons concerning all this rubbish that consumes the world more and more and more. I have come to see this is how I love each of you who will listen. I tell you the truth. The truth really

can make us miserable because it reveals things in us we don’t really want to see or deal with.

This is our Lord and Savior we’re supposed to be representing in the earth. We’re mixing His great salvation up with paganism and fantasy and lies?  How do we justify it!?  Everyone’s doing it? So? Aren’t we supposed to come out and be separate?

Dang. What a spoiler. It has fooled us all. How does a person enjoy all the exposed lies?  We can’t love the truth if we do, for sure. Why did I ever have to know all this was fantasy? I gotta find a way to get past the ugliness that has been exposed about this season. That’s how I used to think. Now, I

know we’re called to expose the lies so we and our families can be protected by His principles of truth

Can we just get through it?  All the people I love the most are affected by so much deception. It’s deep and it’s dark and it all keeps us from walking in the light.

The hype is incredible. Buy everything. Give it to everybody. Lights, parades, magic!  It’s magic and fantasy that the whole world gets involved in but why do we have to include Jesus!  Is it to justify that we really know it is paganism deep down and it’s our way of making it ok? That’s denial. How blind we are!!! It’s NOT about Jesus. It’s obviously Not about Jesus. But songwriters and musicians and candle light services in institutional churches that try to make it about Him would lose a lot of generated money by the season, if they separated themselves from the lies. Follow the money.  We cannot serve God and Mammon. I read that somewhere.

Should we have gone that far?  I mean… what does Jesus have to say about it or His (our)  Father? Didn’t Jesus run the marketers out of the Temple courts and become offended because the Temple (which is us) is supposed to be a place of communing (prayer). Won’t or doesn’t that offend the Holy Spirit?  Isn’t that blasphemy? Why don’t we care? Saying something about the Holy Spirit that’s not true doesn’t seem like something that should be tolerated among believers?

What’s that?  If it makes people

feel good so it has to be God?  Hmmm. It will make people think of Jesus so it’s okay? Hmm. I don't know. He is all about Truth so I’m not sure it’s right. It’s already done!?!??  Well, can we undo it? We need to undo it…at least in the house (family) of God. Don’t we? It starts with each one of us repenting.

It has to begin with repentance. Submit to God, or the Truth, resist the devil or the lies and he has to flee or things will

change. What? We have that much power just through submission and obedience????!!!! Our vision and our prayer should be His Kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven or of our Father is not like anything we have lived in and experienced on the earth.

Now, in this present time and in the world and culture that we live in it’s anything you want it to be. Make up your own way and declare it as truth as long as it makes somebody “feel good.”  Isn’t that the great American way? Yep. That about sums it up. Lawlessness is absolutely the way of the world. Do what is right in our own eyes and call it good because it makes us feel good.

All I want for Christmas is for us all to love the truth???

No. All I want is God's will and plan and purposes and original intention to

to be restored to us. Christmas is a lie. We daubed the walls (the principals of truth) that separate us from the world’s lies with lies just like it says in Ezekiel 17.

Even if it doesn’t make us feel good, we have to call it what it is. It’s a lie. It’s not just a lie, it’s a whole nest of lies. We’re just as guilty of building elevated altars and or not tearing them down as the Kings in antiquity were. We say we don’t worship idols. Christmas is a highly exalted idol that everyone in the world makes time to worship.

I’m like Scrooge?  Who is that?  Oh wow. Oops, I forgot we brought this guy in to make everyone feel guilty so people who don’t go along with all the hype keep their thoughts to themselves. I’m the bad guy cause I love the truth. I really don’t like being the bad guy. Jesus told me the world hated Him because He spoke the truth. He also told me the world would hate me if I follow His example and speak the truth. It's no fun being hated. I don’t like it any more than He did but He is the Truth. He is the Way. He is my life. I follow Him. He told me not to love the world but to love and obey Him. This is actually the way I show my love for those who will listen.

The Spirit of Truth that lives in me just keeps roaring inside me. It’s not a lion although He is known as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He’s the Lion that looks like the Lamb that was slain in the Revelation. His voice seems louder and louder as time goes on. I often ask Him why I don’t see others that are concerned as well!?. We are called to be watchmen on the wall. We are called but unless we actually watch and declare the truth we aren’t chosen. Many are called. Few are chosen.

Jesus said, “Blessed are you if you’re not offended by Me.” Did He offend you by what He gave me to write?

Now that I have shared all this with you, it boils down to this. This is simply the darkness or obscurity being separated from the light. It is the difference between truth and lies. It is the difference between understanding the differences in living life out of our souls or living life led by the Spirit of Truth.

This is my personal battle where I am constantly brought to the place of judging myself. Our Father loves us. He is full of mercy and understands we’re maturing and changing. He’s tolerated paganism from the beginning of time but we cant read the Bible and not know He hates that we worship false gods and wants us to repent from it. It’s all deception. Deception comes from fallen angels. They whisper lies to us and we follow them.

It’s just that each of us needs to face the truth concerning ourselves and how much we’re still controlled by mindsets and cultures we live in with mankind. We are called out of this environment.     Unless and until we mature enough  to answer the call to live in the truth we cannot be chosen to represent our Father and radiate His Glory. We will only radiate sensuality, carnality (immaturity), and devilishness,

We follow Christ, Jesus to please our heavenly Father or we’re following the world that has a different father. He’s known as the father of lies.

That’s what He has revealed to me, anyway. Blessings from a watchman on the wall.
