Solidarity not Solitarity
March 6 2022
The Kingdom of God is like unto solidarity in Him which cuts us off in a social way from the world until we know Him so well we can participate in it, using it, without it controlling us. This Oneness produces spiritual strength in a way the world, who doesn’t know Him, has no ability to participate in or comprehend through studying or sense and reason. We can’t learn it from books or even from other people.
They can point us to the way to know Him but knowing Him is only built through One on one relationship with Him through the Spirit of Truth. Oneness is found only in Him through birth through the Spirit and the Water. Oneness, as in us in Him and Him in us as Jesus spoke of in John 17 was what Jesus died to leave us. He died to leave the glory He brought which was the understanding of how to live as a Son loving and honoring the Father. He left having provided us a way to live in the Spirit which empowers us with rivers of living water (Word) flowing to and through us by way of the Spirit. His Word or truth becomes written on our hearts or the centre of our very being. In this, He revealed the way to know God. God is Spirit. Those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Knowing God, who is Spirit, through our spirit gives us the ability to function in the relationship He chose to be known in. He chose for us to know Him as Father and for us to live as His Sons. Oneness requires intimate relationship as Son to know God as our Father. Kingdom life requires us to become one with God, who is our Father, through Christ, Jesus, the Son.
When we know Him as Father we come into the mind of Christ and can speak His language. Otherwise, we’re left to figure everything out by way of how we know everything else we learn while on the earth. That is not possible, my friend. It’s just not possible to know God, our Father apart from being born of the Spirit and the Water and learning the language that is, uniquely, His.
To have the mind of Christ is to have the mind of a Son. We are warned not to lay any other foundation than what Christ laid; yet, few enter into the understanding that He lived as Son only doing what He saw His Father doing and only saying what He said. This language was reciprocal. Upon being washed by the priest, John, to function as the lamb to be sacrificed in obedience to why the Father sent Him, the heavens opened and the Father said, “this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, Follow Him.” In other words, do what He does.
The language of heaven is the language of intimacy with His family. Jesus was the firstborn that made a way for many brethren. Brethren, in the language “not of the earth” means we are of the same womb. We, as Sons, are born of the same womb of the Holy Spirit. We are born of the Spirit and raised from death (sin worked death in us causing us to belong to another (the spirits called death and hell). Death working in us caused by sin separated us from God, our Father) We have to die to that life and the control of any other than our Father. He chose us and we choose Him over the death that controls the world. This is not death of the body that I speak of. It is death caused by being held captive by lying, fallen angels.
When we were symbolically buried by water baptism we were able to be resurrected (our spirit was brought out of stasis) by His Spirit moving in and bringing the newness of life (Zoe) in the Spirit. The Spirit of God moves in and we’re resurrected by Him to live in Him who is LIFE!! He is the Father of our spirits and as spirits we are neither male nor female Sons. “Neither”. We are “neither”. We are not male. We are not female. We are Sons or the spiritual offspring of the Spirit of God. God is neither male nor female, either. He is Spirit and He is love. And love is nothing that can be understood that is “of the earth’s” language, either.
These are basic truths that have to replace erroneous thinking before we can even begin to live in the completed work that was in His mind from the beginning.
Language that the world offers limits understanding of the Spirit and the Kingdom of God. Hebrew and Greek and Aramaic have afforded something of a way to expand thinking through the richness of painting pictures of deep thought to get us to the mind of Christ. Without being born of the Spirit it is impossible to understand the Spirit’s way.
We cannot become one with Him without living in a solitary way with Him. Knowing Him consumes. Yet, once He is known He includes everything and everyone that knows Him in Spirit and in Truth for He is the life giver and the life sustainer. Kingdom life is Zoe life. Zoe is a Greek word that describes “the eternal spiritual life that’s above man’s way of thinking that’s found in Christ” or the “of the earth life.”.
The languages of the world are very limited in their ability to express the spiritual language of our Father. Our minds, renewed by the Spirit of God, leaves us grasping to find words to explain that which is above the earth. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray what we call the Lord’s Prayer, He knew very few would understand the context and fullness of His Kingdom that was contained in the words.
It takes the whole of scriptures inspired by the Holy Spirit from Genesis to Revelation to come to a place of recognizing our Father and His plans in bringing His Sons to glory and if our context is limited to any language of the earth we will never understand the truths that literally explode in revelation when understood in Spirit and in Truth.
The Bible is full of people’s stories where He chose to show up in their lives. Only a few lived in relationship with Him. Abraham, Noah, Moses, David, the Twelve He chose, and Paul lived in solidarity. These people influenced multitudes to believe and follow God but still only a few follow Him enough to know Him.
Mostly, when we read scripture we are faced with how these men were constantly trying to get people to “see” and “believe” God. These same people they spoke to, consistently, had to be corrected because their souls were so “of the earth, and just like today, we have to learn the Spirit’s way.” Things haven’t changed much.
Jesus came to show us the Father but most are content knowing him as God. They are content reading the scriptures rather than know what the Holy Spirit is exposing in revelation through them. For those who know Him as Father, deep cries to Deep in the courses of His waterfalls. His breakers overwhelm us with awe and crashes of ecstasy. His Word in us is living water that increases, and bursts forth, rapidly causing fruitfulness even as the names of the four rivers that came out of Eden in Genesis revealed.
There are plenty of places you can gather with multitudes who know “about God” because of familiarity through traditions and teachings of scripture. Everyone has their own ideas of how to live life adapting to those scriptures. Lots of people search for His miracles and the things they believe He can do for them. They pray to Him to get what they think they need and want. Lots of people read and study the scriptures and preach and teach what they think they mean. Unless we come to living in the intimacy of knowing our Father’s mind we will be tossed to and fro by all these winds of doctrines. There is only One way!!! There’s a plethora of knowledge taught by religious teachers and preachers available “about God” in all varieties to choose from. Some of it is appealing and some of it is downright repulsive.
Jesus said to the teachers while He was on the earth in a human body, “you study the scriptures but you don’t recognize Me in them. The scriptures are inspired by the Holy Spirit so you will recognize and know Me through them.”
This has become a reality for me. The more I know the Father the less I have in common with mankind and even the religious world that is full to overflowing with activities and people who live their lives all “about God.”. The problem is that the more active we become in all the things we can “do for God,” the less time you have for intimacy with our Father. When I’m around people, I know from conversation with them whether they know Him.
I find the parallel to be true in my own life. Our children are so busy living their lives that we very seldom get to interact with them in person; yet, they share pictures and videos consistently on social media of their doings. I am grateful for what they post but I miss just being with them. Nothing can replace that. While the religious world is full of things about God there’s little observable relationship with Him. He gave mankind life so He could have a relationship with Him and each other but it’s not the life the world offers that Son’s desire. We don't want to be reclusive. There’s just not much out there that offer “life.” We’re absolutely done with death.
To choose Him may feel lonely because building a relationship with Him cuts you off from the world and people and activities and things but that leads to solidarity which is different from being solitary or reclusive. The relationships I am able to build with people who are solidly strengthened in relationship with Father…that really know Him and make time to spend with Him, provide a richness that is treasure beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. He provides family. Jesus told us that His family were those who did the Fathers’s will. There’s a huge difference in the strengthening and encouragement and even admonishment I receive from those who spend time with and in Him—not to study, although, He’s always bringing more and more depth of wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the Spirit. That richness is imparted because we love His Presence.
Admittedly, solidarity can “feel” lonely because not many choose this path. Slowly, Father is helping us find those that are assembled to Him in this deeper walk that has become so very meaningful to us. Indeed, we live and move and have our Being in Him.
In summary, the lifestyle change from that of “church” life to Kingdom life felt lonely until we learned how to build relationships with those solidly strengthened by Him in Spirit and in Truth which leads to solidarity. We are learning to do life with Kingdom-minded people who have the mind of Christ as Sons with an incredible “not of this world,” Father!!.
Oh, how I miss being included in my children’s lives. They are so very busy working and building and living their lives in all that brings them pleasure. Is there a correlation between the Father missing His children because they’re so busy living life “about Him” but not with and in Him?
That's something we should think about!
