The Way of the Lord

 The Way of the Lord is perfect. The way of the Lord is tried and pure and yields strength and power for us to abide and live in, daily, by His Holy and incorruptible Spirit.

Seek first the Kingdom of God (His order and way) and His righteousness and all things required for life and Godliness shall be added unto us who bow to His sovereignty... 

Father has told us, “Search for Me and you will find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” It is not our ideas of justice but His sovereignty we must live in.  Justice  belongs to the Lord to carry out, not us.

We move away from searching the scriptures recorded in the Bible and forget what we look like. Jesus told  the scribes and teachers, you search the scriptures but you fail to see Me  The scriptures reveal Me.

Do we understand that Jesus is our mirror? He is the pattern Son. He is the standard by which we should live and move and have our being. We’re not searching scriptures to see what we’re supposed to do.   We’re searching to see and know Him so we can be like Him..  If we can see Him we can see who we’re supposed to look like. He is our mirror.  He has been the only man that ever lived who has ever been able to reveal our Heavenly Father.  The moment we forget what He looks like will be the moment the soul’s imaginations will mislead us and the cravings of our flesh will convince us we need something else.  

Herein is chaos.  Without the pattern of Jesus whom we follow, daily, guiding us we can and will be mislead.

If we lose sight of Him we lose sight of whose image and likeness we were created to live in. 

We are fearfully and wonderfully made; yet, if we don’t understand that we aren’t made to follow the desires of our flesh or the anything we can dream up that our souls can imagine is good our enemy can mislead us?  Only living by the power of the Spirit of Christ secures us in His likeness and image.

In this world Jesus told us we would have trouble, but by living in His Spirit we overcome.  We may not, immediately, see it or feel it but we have our Father’s promise to depend on. We will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh if we remain in Him.  Apart from Him we are nothing  

In the power of his Spirit we can cast down our imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God but we cannot do it in our own flesh or by way of our soul’s direction apart from His Spirit.  We depend on Him.

There are ways that seem so right to mankind in which is only destruction.  

Beloved, there is no temptation that has taken us but that which is common to mankind but in every case Father makes a way of escape. The Spirit will reveal this way of escape that we can bear up under the troubles of this world because He is truth. Truth sets us free but we have to love it and live in it.   He is Truth and He is our way of escape.

Father, give us eyes to see and ears to hear what Your Spirit is speaking to us moment by moment, day by day that we may live as Your representatives of the way, the truth and the life that You have shown us.
