Change Has to Come

Behold what manner of love the Father has given unto us that we should “become” the “sons” of God.  “Become” is future tense but it’s a daily process that’s happening to us simply because our Father who is God will see to it.  He, continually, imparts a desire to know the truth in us even though our souls will fight against Him to maintain the control it’s always had over us. He is building His church  (His family) and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  (Bars of deception will come down to free us)  

This deception is torn down by us submitting to Him. He is Truth and cannot be separated from Himself. Truth has to be sought after and for the most part we’re happy to live in deception without even realizing it. We are like sheep bing led to the slaughter. Our souls have to be saved from going their own way and making up their own “truths.”  Truth can only be found in God.  If it doesn’t look like Him it’s not truth.

When we really understand that the great Deceiver or the Father of Lies purposely intends to destroy us by misleading us we will submit to searching for Father, God with our whole heart. Our reward is God. He reveals Himself as Truth to us  

There is so much to be “seen” or “revealed” by the Holy Spirit.  Only the Holy Spirit empowers us to understand the many complexities that have been built by mankind that keeps us ensnared in lies. The Holy Spirit is takes what is in Christ, Jesus and imparts truth through our spirit.  (8) Our spirit is not His Spirit. It is the container for His Spirit that came out of dormancy when He moved in. The mind of our spirit has access to the mind of Christ through the Holy Spirit. This benefits us tremendously, in that our souls mind finally becomes informed of the truth so we can live in and come to love it.  

Scripture , profoundly, is declaring that change has to come for us to mature or even begin to see Father as He is. Revelation of how much we have changed is the only way that we realize what has been required of us to get to be called a mature son. As we are reconciled to truth and live in it we are reconciled to our Father.  We can be conformed to His likeness  Only then, can we mature.

Most people in my world didn’t have gifts (10) working in their lives to have even a small understanding of how much Jesus has to love us to show continual patience, mercy and grace to even get us going in the right direction to becoming mature sons. 

Because Father had adopted my grandparents into His family and Kingdom, Jesus and God were focal in my life. The testimonies of those in my bloodline receiving direction to follow Jesus was passed on to me and my siblings. Of course, we, then passed on their adapted beliefs to our children. 

It wasn’t until I was in my 60s that the Holy Spirit was able to adjust my beliefs to show me that I was living in a lot of lies because of ignorance of truth. I carried a lot of partial truths passed on with good intentions by those who loved Jesus but adapted according to their assorted doctrines taught by mankind. Doctrines of man are doctrines of demons.  While this sounds harsh we are to be working out our salvation with fear and trembling.  Doctrines of demons are meant to separate and divide the Body of Christ. They cause us to focus on our differences. Our differences will eventually be fully redeemed until we all only have the mind of  Christ. Christ is not divided; therefore, anything that divides us is a lie. If it’s a lie it’s not God for He is truth.

We all think we’re following Jesus when we’re following the doctrines and traditions and beliefs about Jesus passed down through generations.  No one ever had the intention of misleading us except the enemy of our souls.  

I went through a period of anger because I had been so misled but again mankind is deceived.  The very nature of deception proves we requires a Savior.  Jesus, the Spirit of Truth came to set us free.  Every thought has to be brought captive to Him. Freedom comes by following Jesus, taking up our cross and dying to our thoughts, behaviors and characters that do not agree with Him. We must die to ourselves and our own ways, daily.

While I was living in enough truth that would get me to heaven when I died, I was stuck in traditional, familial mindsets about Jesus that kept me in ignorance of Who God is. I knew a lot about Him but He wanted me to come to know him, personally, building love through living in the truth so we could live in relationship with one another. Of course, God, who is our Father doesn’t leave us or forsake us  He has a plan to reveal Himself in Spirit and in Truth and He does accomplish it.  We don’t have to be afraid He won’t but He knows when someone wants to do life with Him  

However, without us being tuned into the Holy Spirit, His voice is very unfamiliar to us.  We’re much more familiar with our own voice that has adopted many things as true through cultures we’re a part of. We are brought up in the cultures of our own families, our traditional indoctrinations of the way we see God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. We’re indoctrinated by schools, teachers, jobs and all people that have access to us through any direction. 

Logic and reason which is our reliable source of information without the Spirit of God is much more familiar to us.  Even though much of what we are led by is deception and lies we don’t recognize it because our soul has adapted us to accepting us as being “normal.”  Of course, everything that God sets against those beliefs seems abnormal to us so we have the warfare of soul and spirit raging in us. Everything will be shaken until all that remains is what cannot be shaken. In other words the Truth will prevail. God has to disrupt our worlds and shake us to get attention.  This is the fire of the Holy Spirit burning up all that is trash in us.  

This is not painless and suffering accompanies the changes. When you’re changed to live and abide in truth or the mind of God, you seem very abnormal to the world around you  Thus, we feel like aliens and strangers in search of God’s place of residency. We are strangers except where He is and where His Sons who are being changed are.   

Depending on how hardened our hearts have become in this religious training and how much we are able to have God revealed as Father by Jesus will determine whether we ever become mature sons in this life. Otherwise, our minds will changed during the millennium reign. 

Most of us are never taught to any depth that we truly understand that a journey of suffering can be expected if you really are searching to know Him. Everyone has their own story of dying to anything in our thoughts, actions or behaviors that separates us from our Father. Acts that lead to separation from our Father have to be eliminated to live in relationship with Him  

Father wants us to come to the place that we understand what it means to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth and He rewards us with Himself if we search for Him with all our hearts and souls and strengths. 

At this point and time I have come to know Him well enough that the staggering differences in truth and lies most Christians brought to believe keep us stuck in extraordinary ignorance. 

Just in the past year, the Holy Spirit drew me to scriptures in Ephesians pointing to the truth that mankind are living in the futility of their minds because of ignorance held in place by the hardness of their hearts. 

It’s a good thing God wanted to save our souls for we are lost, indeed, without Him
